Everything you need to know about buying an authenticated luxury timepiece from Phantom Pieces. Still have a question? Contact our team.
Authenticity & Quality
Are your watches genuine?
Yes. Every timepiece is professionally authenticated by our expert horologists before it is listed. Each watch passes a multi-point inspection covering movement function, case and dial originality, serial and reference numbers, and overall mechanical performance. Read about our authentication process.
How do you authenticate a watch?
Our horologists verify authenticity, test the movement and timekeeping accuracy, inspect the case, dial, bezel, bracelet and clasp, and confirm serial and reference numbers against the manufacturer’s specifications. Any custom or aftermarket work — such as diamond-setting — is clearly disclosed in the product description.
Do the watches come with box and papers?
Many do — each listing states exactly what is included (for example “Box & Papers” or “Full Set”). If box and papers are not listed, the watch is sold without them.
